• A granddaughter of a Cuban immigrant and a Puerto Rican resident
• A certified project manager in federal, non-profit, and commercial sectors with two decades of experience with decision-making, budgets, public affairs, process improvement, problem-solving and, most importantly, collaboration with others 
• A Director-at-Large (2024-2025), College of Humanities and Social Sciences Alumni Chapter, George Mason University
• A perpetual student with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Spanish, a Certificate in Public Relations, a Master of Business Administration, and, by the end of 2024, a Doctorate in Business Administration in Leadership.
